Genre: historical dramatic animated docufiction film. 

A moving and dramatic, poetic and visionary story of a blind Roma girl and her father victims of Nazism. HOPE, the protagonist, is a blind Romani girl due to Nazi experiments, who together with her father, GRIGO tells the story of their family up until their arrival at the concentration camps. It is a tribute to the power of art and the capacity of the human spirit to create beauty and lightness even in difficult moments.

With the support of EMILIA ROMAGNA FILM COMMISSION and ERIAC, European Roma Institute for Arts and Culture, Berlin. The project was selected at the MIA MARKET 2025-Rome into the Animation Division-ANYSHOW pitch.

Status:  In production, it is expected to be completed in early 2026.
